The Evidence
Standard.

Why UNEXPIRED values evidence over motivation.

UNEXPIRED is not in the content business. It's in the evidence business. That distinction shapes everything we choose to make, and everything we choose not to.

Motivation feels good and changes nothing by itself. A well-produced speech can move you for an afternoon and leave you exactly where you started. Evidence is slower and less comfortable to produce, but it's the only thing that actually holds up — because it's not a claim, it's a documented result.

What we hold ourselves to

We never manufacture inspiration — we earn it. We never teach what we haven't sincerely attempted to understand. We never pretend certainty when curiosity would serve better. We document honestly: what worked, and just as importantly, what didn't.

This means some experiments will end in a result we didn't want. We publish those too. An evidence standard that only shows successes isn't evidence — it's marketing wearing evidence's clothes.

What this means for anything we make

Every story, every essay, every framework has to answer one question honestly: what can we now say is true, that we couldn't say before we tried this? If the answer is "nothing, we just felt inspired," it doesn't belong here. If the answer is a real, specific, sometimes uncomfortable discovery — that's the whole reason UNEXPIRED exists.

Evidence beats opinion. Specific beats abstract. Honest beats polished. That's the standard, and it doesn't bend for a better story.
